ANALYSIS OF VIBRATION SIGNALS IN A DIFFERENTIAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

 

Dr. John Ch. Dermentzoglou, Diploma in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering D.U.TH, is an Associate Professor, Department of Physics, International Hellenic University and Head of Power Electronics, Drives & Electromechanical Systems Laboratory (P.ELE.D.EM). His research interests include Mathematical Modeling and Simulation /emulation of Complex Systems (Power Systems, Electromechanical Systems), special sensor networks, System Identification Techniques, Genetic Algorithms and Neural Networks, as well as high volume data process management. He has participated in a number of Research Programs with respect to Marine Technology either as Leader or primary researcher (Electromechanical Systems for Propulsion, Power Production of Ships), Power Systems and smart grids, concerning the application of sensors, condition monitoring, identification of critical parameters, assessment of dynamic behavior, application of alternative fuels in internal combustion engines etc. He has interdisciplinary interests and he led a project as Scientific Coordinator concerning the assessment of fuel quality with the development of Optical Sensors..
