Time
Turkey is in the Turkey Time Zone (GMT+3) and does not observe daylight saving time. There is no time difference between summer and winter.

Air temperature: In June, the average daytime temperature is between 26°C and 30°C.

Electricity
Electric power is 220–230 V AC, 50 Hz, with European-style plugs (Type C and F). Please ensure that your electronic devices (laptops, phone chargers, etc.) are compatible with this voltage. Bring an adapter if your plug type differs.
Local currency
The official currency is the Turkish Lira (TRY). Banks are typically open Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00. ATMs are widely available in cities and towns, and credit/debit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants, and shops.

First Aid
A first aid service will be available at the conference venue throughout the event. No other medical services will be provided on-site. Participants are expected to cover any personal medical expenses. It is strongly recommended that you have travel and health insurance covering your stay in Turkey.

The national emergency number in Turkey is 112 — this single number covers police, ambulance, and fire services.
Driving
Right-hand traffic. Seat belts are mandatory; traffic in big cities (Istanbul/Ankara/Izmir/Antalya) can be congested.
