Bandirma is an important port city in Balikesir Province, northwestern Turkey, located on the Sea of Marmara. It is also a district that has one of Turkey's largest ports. There are regular ferry services from Istanbul to Bandirma Port every day. Bandirma, which is economically strong, is an important industrial and poultry city for Turkey. Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport
A direct intercity bus service operates from Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Bandirma. Tickets can be purchased online via the official Balikesir Transportation website at https://bilet.balikesirulasim.com.tr/en.

Istanbul Airport
There are two primary transportation options to reach Bandirma from Istanbul Airport:

• By Intercity Bus: Travelers can first proceed to the Esenler Central Bus Terminal (Esenler Otogar) and continue to Bandirma by intercity coach. A public airport shuttle service (see https://www.hava.ist/) operates between Istanbul Airport and Esenler Bus Terminal. Bus schedules and tickets from Esenler to Bandirma can be checked and purchased through the online platform https://www.obilet.com/en.
• By Ferry: Alternatively, passengers may take the M11 Metro Line from the airport to the Yenikapi Ferry Terminal. From Yenikapi, direct ferries to Bandirma are available, with ticket reservations accessible via the official IDO website at https://www.ido.com.tr/en/
